Hi Churchman111,
Much of this I answered in the other question you posted, so be sure to check there. You basically join a seminary by applying to and being accepted to study for the Priesthood by your local diocese.
You can not join a seminary without being sponsored by a diocese, or a religious order (Like the Benedictines or Jesuits); that comes first.
