My advice to men considering the priesthood: Get involved with your parish, try joining or volunteering with the youth groups, joining the Knights of Columbus, lectoring, serving, singing or ushering at mass. Talk with your parish priest or Father Mitchel. There is no right or wrong vocation only the one that Jesus is calling you to. Some think that once you enter seminary that you are going to become a priest but that is not the case. Seminary is an great place for you to finish your discernment. At seminary you can step away from the busyness and noise in the world and focus on God and his will for you.

Why I want to be a Priest: There are many reasons why I want to become a priest. All but one of those reasons could be fulfilled in other vocations. I want to become a priest because I believe it is what Jesus is calling me to.

Hobbies & Interests: Construction, large machinery, anything with a motor, water skiing, trap shooting, having St. Anthony find my lost things, theology of the body, talking to people who are passionate about what they do, hanging out with the youth groups Holy Spirit, making people laugh, and my little brothers,

Influence: My Family and friends, Father Whealen, Father Zimmerman, Father Weber and Saint Isadore's at K-State, Holy Spirit youth groups and Our Lady.
