Do you love the Catholic Church? Would you like to discover some of her most beautiful riches? Men who are high school seniors or older are invited to receive an application for this event.

Our Venite et Videte (Come and See) discernment retreat will be a prayer vigil for the seminarian being ordained the next morning. There will be adoration, meditations given by Fr. Mitchel Zimmerman, praying the Liturgy of the Hours, a rosary and Stations of the Cross. This immersion in the distinct prayers of the Catholic Church will bring a powerful connection to Jesus Christ, and help you become aware of his beautiful plan for you.

The next morning you will have Morning Prayer with a vocation meditation by Fr. Mitchel, and then attend the most beautiful Catholic tradition - the ordination of a seminarian, which will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter in KCK. You are invited to the reception afterward and to meet other seminarians who are answering God's call with courage.

The retreat is: Friday, May 20, 9:30pm to Saturday, May 21st at 1:00pm.

Located at Savior Pastoral Center, 12601 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS  66109. Savior is three miles west of Cabelas.   Please note: The retreat ends by attending the Diaconate ordination of a seminarian at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Kansas City, KS. You are invited to the reception following the ordination.

Cost is only $10 and includes your room and a continental breakfast.
