Would you like to "Come and See" how God calls you and how you can respond? Would you like to have lots of fun and recreation mixed in with prayer and adoration? Venite et Videte is Latin for "come and see" and is the name for short retreats the Vocation Office is offering to young men. The next session is for men in grades 9 - 11 who want to spend 24 hours experiencing Catholic traditions such as the Liturgy of the Hours, the rosary, and Mass. Combined with down to earth talks from Fr. Mitchel Zimmerman, you can draw closer to Christ, and get answers to questions like "I'm confused because I'm attracted to girls and the Priesthood" or "What are the signs I need to look for?"

These retreats are planned to be fun. There will be plenty of sports and recreation such as dodgeball, watching a KU game, and a movie. You will have good food and stay in a room at Savior Pastoral Center. Guys who attended last year had a really great time.

The retreat is: Saturday, February 27, 1:30pm to Sunday, February 28th at 1:00pm for grades 9 - 11.

Saturday, March 6, 12:30pm to Sunday, March 7 at noon for grades 6 - 8.

Located at Savior Pastoral Center, 12601 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS  66109. Savior is three miles west of Cabelas.

Cost is only $25.00, and includes your room, meals, and recreation.

Registration is done through our website. Once you register we will send you a letter and invoice. Please register by Tuesday, February 23.
