My advice to men considering the priesthood: Be patient with your vocation. You don't have to know your entire future at once. Do what you can in your life now to grow in holiness and become more like Christ. Most of all, PRAY PRAY PRAY. Spend time alone with our Lord in prayer, whether that be in the quiet of your room, before the Blessed Sacrament, through devotions to the saints and the Blessed Mother, or through good spiritual reading. Just trust in the love of Jesus, and remember, "There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13
Why I want to be a Priest: I want to be of total service to the Lord in the way that he calls me. If God is calling me to serve him in the form of the priesthood, I just cannot say no to him after all that I have been given.
