My advice to men considering the priesthood:1) Find time to spend in silence in order to listen to God’s call for you, whether it is a religious vocation or not. 2) Making the choice itself can be the hardest step in the process. The best decision is an informed one. So I suggest that you visit a seminary and learn your options to better understand your choice. 3) There are going to be challenging times, but persevere! The joy of growing closer to God will pull you through any trial. Also, be honest with yourself. You can’t truly appreciate the fruits of discernment unless you know yourself and are able to recognize your call.

Why I want to be a Priest: I want to become a priest for two reasons. The first reason is for the salvation of souls. I want to help people to grow closer to Jesus and to one day be with Him in heaven. The second reason is for personal sanctification. I want to grow closer myself to the Lord, especially through His Blessed Mother. The only way I can see myself reaching these goals for myself, and also to be truly happy, is as a priest.

Hobbies & Interests: Reading, philosophy, history, theology, being with friends, getting to know people, watching movies, and most of all – prayer.

Influence: My parents and the various priests throughout my life.
