My advice to men considering the priesthood: Do not consider the priesthood to get away from something or someone. Consider it because God might be calling you to join his holy priesthood.

Why I want to be a Priest: I would like to become a priest because that is what I believe God is calling me to do.

Hobbies & Interests: I have many interests. Some of which are the following: baling hay, working with JMJ Communications, collecting little cars, listening to music, going to youth group with my friends, and just having a good time. I enjoy baling hay because it is a family project in which all my siblings and parents participate. I still enjoy it. Working with JMJ Communications is quite fun as well. While helping JMJ, I go to various conferences and record talks. Occasionally, I provide sound for an event, which has enabled me to learn to run the sound mixer. Collecting little cars has been another enjoyable pastime. I collect the 1/64-scale ERTL farm vehicles, which includes, tractors, combines, trucks, trailers, etc. I hope to keep collecting them until I run out of room. My tastes in music change everyday. Most of the time, I listen to Country music or Christian music. I occasionally enjoy some Pop music. Joining the local Catholic home-school youth group has enriched my life because I have met many friends from all over the Kansas City area. Having a good time could mean anything for me. At times, I like to play piano and pretend that I am a pianist. At other times, I can be found jumping on the trampoline, shooting clay pigeons with shotguns, driving down the road, reading good books in my room, or teaching my younger siblings something.

Influence: I have had many influences over the years. My parents are the main influences but many priests and friends have also been great influences for me.
