My advice to men considering the priesthood: Go for it. An old spiritual director once told me that just like when discerning marriage, you have to spend time learning what would be necessary of a husband in order to best understand how God wants to use your talents, you must be willing to do the same for the priesthood. Worst case scenario is that you find it is not for you and you leave with much more knowledge and a greater spiritual life.

Why I want to be a Priest: Serve God's people and live a life of sacrifice.

Hobbies & Interests: Reading, lifting weights, riding my motorcycle, and playing pick up sports.

Influence: I spent some time in formation at St. Benedict's Abbey in Atchison, and many of those men have helped shape me and lead me to the seminary for the Archdiocese.
